Beyond institutional responsibility for accommodations, instructors need to provide course content which ensures greater accessibility for students. Accessibility ideas are not just rules for accommodation, but a set of guidelines for a student’s productive learning experience. This presentation will focus on basic course changes that can be implemented to provide accessible materials for online students. Participants will explore the fundamentals of the Americans with Disabilities Act and learn skills to complete an accessibility audit.
